Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises to the economic empowerment of local communities with a case study on Cahaya Catering in Lhokseumawe City, by focusing on three main indicators, namely employment, income, and skills to economic empowerment. Through a quantitative approach, data was collected from the selected respondents using a sample technique aimed at the total employee population based on the calculation of the Slovin formula. Testing the instrument through validity and reliability tests showed that the distributed questionnaire was valid and reliable after going through the process of eliminating inappropriate items. The results of the classical assumption test confirmed that the data was distributed normally, free from multicollinearity, and did not show any symptoms of heteroscedasticity.
