Traditional arts face the challenge of identity reconstruction in the algorithmic era when the visual culture of social media shapes public perception. This study aims to analyze the relationship between social media visual practices and the transformation of traditional art identity. The method used is qualitative digital ethnography through content observation and in-depth interviews with 12 informants and art managers, with thematic analysis. The results of the study show that social media plays a role in the negotiation of art identity through visual adaptation, narrative, and digital interaction. In conclusion, identity reconstruction based on digital visual culture strengthens the sustainability of traditional arts and supports art preservation strategies in the algorithmic era.
