The increasing need for lightweight, strong, and sustainable materials is driving the development of hybrid composites for mechanical components. This study developed epoxy-based hybrid composites reinforced with rattan natural fibers and E-glass synthetic fibers. The laboratory experiment used 30 laminate units divided into five groups, six units each, with a total fiber fraction of 30%. Data were obtained through tensile, flex, impact, and density testing, then analyzed using descriptive statistics, One-Way ANOVA, and Tukey HSD. he results showed that rattan/E-glass hybrid composites improved tensile strength, flexural strength, and impact resistance compared with single-fiber composites. These findings confirm the potential of hybrid composites as lightweight structural materials for mechanical components.
